ADVOCACY & SOCIAL Equity

OZ. routinely engages with the Liquor and Cannabis Board and the state legislature on issues that affect the cannabis industry and cannabis consumers in Washington state.

OZ. SUPPORTS MANY WASHINGTON STATE REFORMS, INCLUDING:

• Cannabis equity through state funded programs for BIPOC and veterans

• Removal of all possession limits for cannabis

• Simplifying state law by eliminating cannabis related crimes from the RCW and WAC

• Reducing sentences and eliminating other drug related crimes from the RCW and WAC

• Asking city, county, and state courts to void sentences for non-violent drug offenders

• Advocating for prosecutors to not pursue cases involving non-violent drug offenses

• Disallowing employers to discriminate against cannabis consumers

• Disallowing landlords to discriminate against cannabis consumers

• Allowing adults to grow their own cannabis

• Reform of the medical cannabis system including abolishing the state patient database

OZ. ownership actively engages with and financially supports many organizations particularly those dedicated to ending the war on drugs and emancipation through equal justice.

We encourage our customers, vendors, and staff to consider joining us in supporting:
